Oceanic Mind

The human mind and ocean are both vast and complex. Ocean tides resemble our shifting emotions and thoughts, with much remaining unknown in both realms. This painting radiates the joyful chaos of ocean life through a vivid, abstract lens using bright colours and bold shapes. This piece also considers human impacts on the ocean, particularly oil and plastic pollution.

This piece is made with acrylic paint, collage and oil pastels and is 30inch or 76cm square with a deep 4cm edge which is also painted.
